Don’t-trash-it engages reformed street youths to segregate organic fruit and vegetables waste from Nakuru city mass market and transport the waste to their facility as feed material, with 80% of preselected fresh fruit waste crushed and fed to our black soldier fly farm which we use to produce protein substitute for chicken feeds in our farms and local community, these process also gives us organic fertilizer which we use for farming. While the remaining 20% which rises to 60% during rain fed harvesting season fed community biogas system for sustainable energy.
