This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the carbon market mechanisms and the opportunities they offer for young entrepreneurs. Participants will learn about the fundamental concepts of carbon credits, emission quotas, and emission trading systems, as well as the different types of market mechanisms such as cap-and-trade systems and voluntary credit projects. The course also covers the identification of green sectors, the development of carbon projects, strategic positioning within the carbon market, and the relationship between states and companies within carbon policy frameworks. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to develop a solid business case to attract investors and seize opportunities in the carbon market.
