The course uses a theoretical-practical approach to address the cycle of climate ambition under the Paris Agreement. Students will be introduced to the Global Stocktake process through Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), Long-Term Climate Strategies (LTS), and the main global initiatives and strategies for global climate action. Some of the main challenges are presented for the mobilization of the public and private sectors and civil society, and the design of public policies for climate action.
